COVID-19 TESTS

Verretubex Industrie supplies the first vials for serological tests in France.

Verretubex Industrie has started production of the first large series of 4 ml (BIO-MERIEUX) and 3 ml (BIO-RAD) vials, designed to contain the reactants used in COVID-19 presence tests.

The devices are assembled by our customers BIOMERIEUX (MARCY L’ETOILE site – 69 – ) and BIO-RAD (STEENVOORDE site – 59 – ), from drawn glass vials manufactured by Verretubex.

These bottles have screw necks (designed to receive a screw cap), and it is planned to manufacture them in large volumes from June 2020 to meet the demands of tests in France and Europe.
