Available upon request, we can also siliconise your vials. This treatment, used mainly in the pharmaceutical industry, gives you additional protection and maximises the value of your products:

Advantages of siliconising :

  • It provides a protective layer for pharmaceutical solutions containing sensitive molecules on the surface of the glass while improving the chemical durability of the vial.
  • The silicone film also acts as a protective hydrophobic layer to prevent viscous solutions from adhering to the vial’s surface and allows aqueous solutions to flow down to the last drop to avoid losses.
  • It also eliminates the meniscus effect on the content’s surface, giving a better finish.
